The fund selection landscape is entering a new phase. Shifts in market structure, higher interest rates, regulatory pressure and rapid technological progress are reshaping how professional investors evaluate and select investment funds. The process is becoming more data-driven, more transparent and more accountable — while expectations for risk management and performance attribution continue to rise.
This panel explores the current state and future direction of fund selection. Key themes include the growing use of analytics and screening technology, the integration of quantitative models with qualitative judgement, and the impact of macroeconomic and geopolitical shifts on allocation decisions. We will discuss how selectors refine their tools, how they adapt to more volatile markets and how evolving client expectations influence the final selection process.
