Previously, Alan was Chief Business Development Officer of CLS, the systemically important global foreign exchange settlement utility.
Prior to these roles, he had a distinguished legal career as General Counsel of CLS and Barclays Africa Corporate and Investment Banking and as Global Head of Transaction Legal at Dresdner Kleinwort.
