A historic moment at FINANZ25

At FINANZ25, the famous SIX stock exchange bell was rung outside the stock exchange for the first time. The occasion was the launch of three new Swisscanto ESGeneration SDG ETFs from Zürcher Kantonalbank.

The products were presented directly on site – a novelty that delighted both visitors and sponsors. The ETFs offer sustainable access to various stock markets and build on the strong growth of Swisscanto's Index Solutions division.

This moment was much more than a product presentation: it showed that FINANZ is increasingly becoming a place where innovations are not only discussed, but can also be experienced live.

The bell becomes the highlight of FINANZ

The premiere is now becoming a tradition. Starting with FINANZ26, the SIX stock exchange bell will be officially integrated into the event:

• Opening: On 25 February 2026, the bell will ring in the start of the event.

• Closing: On 26 February 2026, it will ceremoniously ring out the event in the afternoon.

• Product launches: Providers can showcase new products in an attractive way and present them directly at FINANZ – including their own programme slot and bell ringing.

This gives FINANZ a highlight that combines tradition and innovation. The SIX stock exchange bell adds an extra dimension to the event: as a symbol of Swiss virtues such as reliability, solidity and quality, it accompanies the journey to new milestones and brings the values of the Swiss financial centre to life in an emotional way.

Product launches directly at FINANZ – a new experience for suppliers and visitors

This cooperation gives exhibitors and sponsors the opportunity to stage product launches and milestones directly at FINANZ in a way that appeals to the public – deliberately outside the usual SIX location.

This creates a unique stage for presenting new products to a large, highly relevant specialist audience. FINANZ attracts around 2,500 professional investors every year, making launches significantly more visible, tangible and effective.

Providers of listed financial instruments can organise their launches flexibly: The SIX stock exchange bell can be rung at their own stand or at a specially designated location – accompanied by a short speech, media presence or catering. The presentation can then seamlessly transition into an official FINANCE panel or a moderated session.

This creates a professional setting that showcases new products in the best possible light and intensifies exchange with the industry.
