Marcel Oldenkott is Managing Director and Co-CIO of BIT Capital and is responsible for Systematic Strategies, Macro Research, Risk Management and Data Engineering. He has more than 15 years of experience in the German asset management industry.
In his more than decade-long career as a portfolio manager, he has successfully managed over €1 billion in assets under management (AuM) in multi-asset and global macro-oriented strategies. Marcel specialises in the use of derivatives in diversified asset and equity portfolios. He began his professional career in risk management consulting and has been a CFA charterholder since 2010.
